Responsibilities:

Website Development:

• Assist in designing and developing responsive WordPress websites.
• Collaborate with team members to implement visual elements and user experience enhancements.
• Contribute to customizing existing themes or creating simple custom WordPress themes based on project requirements.

Front-End Development:

• Implement and maintain front-end functionality and appearance of websites.
• Utilize HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other front-end technologies under guidance to create engaging user interfaces.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsiveness.

Back-End Development:

• Learn to customize and extend the WordPress core to meet project requirements.
• Assist in troubleshooting and debugging issues related to back-end functionality.
• Adhere to WordPress coding standards and guidelines.

Security and Performance Optimization:

Work on implementing security best practices under guidance.

Learn to optimize website performance for fast load times and efficient functionality.

Contribute to regular security audits and updates.

Content Management:

Receive training on using the WordPress CMS.

Support content managers in entering content adhering to best practices.

Quality Assurance:

Participate in testing websites to identify and report bugs or issues.

Learn and apply unit testing under guidance.

Assist in cross-device and cross-browser testing.

Collaboration:

Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements.

Collaborate with other developers and designers to achieve project goals.

Assist in collaboration with other teams or departments, such as SEO and digital marketing.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

Basic understanding of PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.

Familiarity with front-end frameworks and tools is a plus.
